Reading Again

It's been a while since I had my nose in a good book. Recently I went to a car boot sale (it's got to be one of the best things about Saturdays and Bank Holidays!) and having successfully avoided buying more dresses- I reckon I'm now at that stage where I can legitimately claim to have 'too many' lucky me!- I came across a box full of classic literature and decided that a few volumes would be 

a much more worthwhile investment.

It's been a while so I thought I'd give you a quick update and a little taste of things to come.

Watching: Not very scary 'scary' films ;P

Visiting: The Zoo (My first time!)

Baking: very buttery chocolate cake :)

Making: Peter Pan collar  (for a very special dress...)

I have another very exciting baking project in mind at the moment, for a very exciting event! There will be more dresses too...

Oh and watch this space for Movie Club!

New Song- Round In The Rain

Hey There :)

The last song for the EP is finished!

I wrote this ages ago last year. It's the first song I wrote for my beloved....

Hopefully all the songs are gonna get the once over and what not when I get my hands on Jamie's mixing stuff (... thanks honey!)

And then we'll sort artwork and stuff, with the help of Sophie Hall, my very own artist in residence ;)

Violet

Hey :)

I finished another original song for the EP today. To be honest, I was planning on doing more with this one but it has been laying around for ages and cluttering up my mind so I thought I'd get it up here and 'done with' (for now at least) so that I can concentrate on getting on with the others, then I can give them all the once over and make a few tweaks here and there if needed, I'm pretty pleased with it anyhow. 

I wrote this song about a dream I had- that's all you're getting ;)

I think it's nice for people to make up their own minds about what a song means to them, 

it's more personal that way.
